Description
WordPress Plugin SP Project & Document Manager is prone to multiple vulnerabilities, including cross-site scripting, SQL injection, arbitrary file upload and information disclosure vulnerabilities. An attacker may leverage these issues to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site, allowing the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials, to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database, to upload arbitrary code and run it in the context of the webserver process, which may facilitate unauthorized access or privilege escalation, or to obtain sensitive information that may help in launching further attacks. WordPress Plugin SP Project & Document Manager version 2.5.9.7 is vulnerable; prior versions may also be affected.
Remediation
Update to plugin version 2.6.2.3 or latest
