Description
WordPress Plugin Powerplay Gallery is prone to multiple vulnerabilities, including arbitrary file upload and SQL injection vulnerabilities because it fails to properly sanitize and verify user-supplied input. An attacker may leverage these issues to upload arbitrary code and run it in the context of the webserver process, which may facilitate unauthorized access or privilege escalation, or to compromise the application, access or modify data or to exploit vulnerabilities in the underlying database. WordPress Plugin Powerplay Gallery version 3.3 is vulnerable; prior versions are also affected.
Remediation
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified and sanitized or disable the plugin until a fix is available
