Generating a new API Key

Generating a new API Key and accessing Acunetix API documentation is available through the user Profile page.

This article explains how to generate a new API key and how to access the Acunetix API documentation.

How to generate a new API Key

  1. Log in to Acunetix.
  2. Click [Your Name] in the top left corner of the page.
  3. Select Profile from the drop-down menu.

  1. Scroll down to the API Key section and click Generate new api key.

  1. Click Show to display your new API key, or Copy if you want to copy and paste the API key.

How to access Acunetix API documentation

  1. Log in to Acunetix.
  2. Click [Your Name] in the top left corner of the page.
  3. Select Profile from the drop-down menu.

  1. Scroll down to the API Key section and click API Documentation for .html or API Documentation (YAML) for .yaml depending on your preference. Both options will open the API documentation in a new browser tab.
