Technology notifications
Technologies notifications are triggered when the version database is periodically updated. Based on this new information, the technologies are re-checked. If a technology version is found to be outdated or has other issues, Acunetic 360 sends a collective notification for the affected target.
This document explains how to turn notifications on or off for specific technologies and manage built-in, out-of-date technologies.
Turning specific technology notifications on or off
Turning specific technology notifications on or off allows you to customize notifications based on the technologies most relevant to your needs. By adjusting these settings, you can reduce unnecessary notifications on technologies you do not want to monitor.
To check which technologies have their notifications turned on or off:
- Select Technologies > Recent Technologies from the left-side menu.
- Refer to the Notification column.
To turn the notifications on or off:
- Click Detail for the selected technology.
- On the Technology Detail page, click Notifications.
- Select Enable Notifications or Disable Notifications to turn the selected technology notifications on or off.
- When you click one of the options, you save the settings. An information strip appears to confirm the change.
Managing built-in, out-of-date notifications
A built-in notification for out-of-date technologies is enabled by default. To amend the settings, follow the steps in the Managing Notifications document. You can turn the notifications off or create a new notification for a particular target when Acunetix 360 detects out-of-date technologies.
