Activation Cooldown Period | 14 days * |
* The Activation Cooldown Period defines how much time must have elapsed before another activation becomes possible. At any point in time, there can be a maximum of 5 activated instances. When a new activation is requested, a check is made on the 5 currently activated instances. If ALL of those instances were activated within the last 14 days, it will NOT be possible to activate another instance.
What Is Acunetix Consultant Edition?
Acunetix has created targeted licenses intended for use by Security Consultants. As a Consultant, you will typically be performing scans on multiple external targets (websites and web applications). As you move from one project to another, you would remove targets for old projects and add targets for the new ones.
How Can Acunetix Consultant Edition Be Used?
The Consultant Edition Licences are intended for independent Consultants and Companies that offer Security Services as their main line of business, including security consulting, security testing, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
Who Can Apply for an Acunetix Consultant License?
To be eligible for a Consultant Edition license, you must demonstrate that the license will be used exclusively to perform security services for clients who are external, and therefore unrelated to yourself and also unrelated to the Company or Firm you belong to. For example, your website (or the website of the Company or Firm you belong to) should make it clear that security consultancy, penetration testing, or similar services are the primary lines of business.
Who Is Not Eligible for an Acunetix Consultant License?
You are NOT eligible for a Consultant license if there is a need to scan any targets that are internal to you or to the Company or the Firm you belong to, or any related entity, including (but not limited to):
- in-house security services
- services between affiliated entities, or parent/child companies, or companies formed through a merger or acquisition, or internal departments operating as separate companies, or technology alliances
- State, Local and Education (SLED) systems, networks or communities
