Acunetix were the proud sponsors of the 3rd Cyprus Penetration Testing Competition that took place on Sunday, October 8th at UCLan Cyprus. The event was organized by UCLan Cyprus and the University of Cyprus, under the auspices of the office of the Commissioner of Electronic Communications and Postal Regulation. Mr. Petros Galides, Deputy Commissioner of Electronic Communications and Postal Regulation, as well as a number of industry professionals delivered demonstrations on various cybersecurity aspects.
The highlight of the event was a CTF competition, where students and industry professionals had the opportunity to compete on cybersecurity topics. The first three winners received monetary awards and scholarships to register to cybersecurity courses.
