How fast is Acunetix v12?

Acunetix version 12 ships with a new scanning engine which has been rewritten from scratch. One of the benefits of the new scanning engine is an improvement in scanning speed. Our tests indicate that the scanning time of some scans has been halved. This is partially due to a higher number of simultaneous requests being done to the server. In addition, it should be possible to start more scans using version 12 on the same machine, allowing you to scan more sites simultaneously.

The scan speed improvement will depend on the technology used by the site, the site’s response time and other factors. You will however notice a speed improvement when using Acunetix version 12.
