Course Outline

SEC460: Enterprise Threat and Vulnerability Assessment begins with an introduction to information security vulnerability assessment fundamentals, followed by in-depth coverage of the Vulnerability Assessment Framework. It then moves into the structural components of a dynamic and iterative information security program. Through a detailed, practical analysis of threat intelligence, modeling, and automation, students will learn the skills necessary to not only use the tools of the trade, but also to implement a transformational security vulnerability assessment program.

Get Acunetix Certified

All course participants are encouraged to sit for the open book Acunetix User Certification Test within the Acunetix Academy, to get vendor certification supplementary to the SANS course. Certification confirms that the candidate has the necessary knowledge and skills required to set up, configure, operate and troubleshoot Acunetix Web Vulnerability Scanner to automatically scan a website for vulnerabilities, and interpret the results to further research and take action on vulnerabilities.
