The Acunetix team has recently returned from RSA Conference 2017 held once again at the Moscone Business Centre in San Francisco. This week-long conference was attended by over 30,000 security professionals from around the globe. Ian Muscat – Product Communications Manager, Juxhin Dyrmishi Brigjaj – Technical Support and Jason Cruz – Regional Sales Executive where in attendance to demonstrate Acunetix v11 and answer enquiries from enterprise customers, partners and potential customers.
Ian Muscat presented a security briefing entitled “XXE: When Features Become Vulnerabilities” which explored the possibilities of how XML External Entity Injection (XXE) could be used against a web application to steal data and affect confidentiality.
